Hello Fellow Painter!
We often put a lot of pressure on ourselves to make masterpieces...and that can take the fun out of creating. Play is crucial to making art and this is the class for that.
Whether you're brand new to watercolor and want to learn about paints through play, or experienced but going through a lull in creativity, this class can help!
Grab your colors and get ready to play!
Low Pressure Exercises
This class is meant to be fun! It will help you get over the nerves of starting a sketchbook or even just getting your paints out again!
Nothing needs to be perfect in this class, just play and have fun!
This class includes 7 exercises and several of them showcase two options for completing the exercise so you have control.
My goal is for you to have fun, play, and take time to paint. In addition to that I sneak in some additional lessons like how to use tube paints, masking fluid, and other extra nuggets of knowledge.
This class is prerecorded so you can work at your own pace or as the inspiration strikes!
Example Curriculum
Essential Supplies
This class is made to be used with the basic watercolor supplies you already have. I do throw in some extra fun bits, so feel free to play with other supplies and mixed media, but it's not required.
The basic supplies you'll need are:
- A sketchbook (or watercolor paper, you do you)
- Watercolors
- A brush
- Tape
- Water
- A rag
- Pencil
- Pen
- If you're impatient a hairdryer or heat gun
Other Fun Supplies
You don't have to have any of these extras, but I do show some additional supplies. For those who are curious a full list of supplies for each exercise will be listed with links under the first video of the exercise.
