The perfect class for beginners
The goal of this class is to teach you the basics of watercolor while also exploring variables that can make it tricky! We start slow with easy to do experimental abstracts and build to bigger projects! At the end of this class you'll have lots of experiments as well as 5 finished paintings!
Learn about your supplies by playing and experimenting!
Not only does this class teach you how to make a few beautiful compositions, it will also teach you a ton about the supplies you have! This class does not include supplies, you'll have to bring your own, but I recommend working with what you have on hand to start.
Recommended supplies you'll need for this class are:
- Watercolors
- Paintbrush (I recommend a size 10 or 12 round brush)
- Watercolor paper (I recommend 140lb at least)
- 2 cups of water
- Tape
- Paper towels (rags work too, but there is one exercise that paper towels are super helpful for!)
- If you're impatient, a hair dryer or heat gun
